According to Al Jazeera, Israeli warplanes targeted Syrian military installations near Damascus and in the surrounding countryside. The Israeli military attacked the Syrian army’s Fourth Division and a radar battalion. The attack came after Turkish intelligence chief Ibrahim Kalin visited Damascus to meet with HTS leader Al-Golani and caretaker prime minister Mohammad al-Bashir. Turkish Defence Minister Yasar Guler said Israeli attacks in Syria are escalating tensions and sowing instability in the region.
