Europe, NATO Plan To Send Peace Forces And Extend Military Support To Ukraine: Full Details
How large a military force are European countries considering deploying to Ukraine to enforce a possible peace deal between Ukraine and Russia?
The initiative, led by the UK and France, could deploy 150,000 to 300,000 troops to Ukraine. The aim is to deter Russia’s offensive capabilities and permanently secure Ukraine.
At the same time, ongoing peace talks between the US and Russia are causing concern in Europe and prompting the continent to prioritize its own security priorities.

Iran threatened to retaliate after reports emerged that it has deployed additional defences amid escalating fears of a joint Israeli-US attack on its nuclear facilities.
Iran’s head of the Armed Forces Operations Room, General Gholam Ali Rashid, said that any Israeli aggression would be assessed in light of US support, and a counter-response would be launched.
Rashid said Iran would not only target the source of the attack but also the facilities and bases supporting Israel. Notably, Israel relies on US and other Gulf nations' military bases to strike Iran. Tehran had earlier warned that countries providing assistance to Israel in attacking Iran would be considered legitimate targets.
