Former US Army Vice Chief of Staff General Jack Keane discusses tensions in the Middle East as fears continue to grow of an all-out war between Israel and Hezbollah.
“What we saw last week with the communication devices exploding, the taking down of the entire leadership virtually killing all of the tactical leaders,” General Keane told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
“Then airstrikes against mostly launchers and other military targets.
“The Israelis are telling Nasrallah this is going to continue. A ground campaign is imminent if you don’t pull back and stop firing into Israel.”

Thousands of Israelis displaced from Kiryat Shmona and Metulla due to Hezbollah bombardment are still not feeling safe in Haifa as the Iran-backed militant group is also targeting the key Israeli port. But, the Israelis are also happy that counter attack by IDF has killed hundreds of Hezbollah militants. They hope after the ground invasion by Israeli forces is over they will be able to relocate to their homes. Watch the video.

The Israeli military said Thursday it intercepted a missile fired from Yemen, as its ongoing bombardment of Hezbollah in Lebanon raised fears of all-out war in the Middle East. Sirens went off in several areas of central Israel, including Tel Aviv, "as a result of a missile that was fired from Yemen", the Israeli Defense Forces said on messaging platform Telegram.

Vladimir Putin has escalated his nuclear rhetoric, telling a group of senior officials that Russia would consider using nuclear weapons if it was attacked by any state with conventional weapons.
His remarks on Wednesday came during a meeting with Russia’s powerful security council where he also announced changes to the country’s nuclear doctrine.
The comments marked Russia’s strongest warning yet to the west against allowing Ukraine to launch deep strikes into Russian territory using long-range western missiles.
The Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has been asking for months for permission to use British Storm Shadow missiles and US-made Atacms missiles to hit targets deeper inside Russia.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has given a "nuclear warning" to the West and said that it could resolve to use nuclear weapons if the country gets hit by conventional missiles from Ukraine, as reported by the Reuters.
During his meeting of Russia's Security Council on Wednesday, Putin stated that Moscow would consider any attack supported by a nuclear power as a joint attack on it.

The Houthi rebels claim to have attacked three American Navy destroyers in the Red Sea while they were allegedly on their way to support Israel. Houthi military spokesperson, Yahya Saree, said that 23 ballistic and winged missiles and drones were used in the attack and that all three targets were directly hit. However, an U.S. official told Reuters that the three warships intercepted all projectiles and that there was no damage or casualties. Watch for more.
