A Russian aircraft landed in Israel last month and later headed back to Moscow for reasons that are currently not clear, Ynet News reported. Israeli officials denied reports a Russian delegation arrived in the country to negotiate the release of two Israeli-Russian captives held by Hamas. The Tu-214SR aircraft that landed in Israel is part of the special "Russia" flight unit, which is under Putin's administration. Watch.

Turkey has submitted a letter to the UN calling for a halt in arms deliveries to Israel. It was signed by 52 countries and two inter-governmental organizations. Among the signatories were Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Algeria, China, Iran and Russia, the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. Meanwhile, Turkish Foreign Minister warned that a major escalation awaits in the Middle East if Israel attacks Iran's nuclear capability.

On November 11, 2024, Hezbollah fired nearly 200 rockets into Israel, targeting Haifa, which set off sirens and caused significant fires in Kiryat Ata. Videos from Israel’s MDA ambulance service showed buildings and vehicles burning. An Israeli woman described narrowly escaping death, saying there was "only a second" between life and death. Despite the barrage, many rockets were intercepted by the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF). Hezbollah’s ramped-up attacks follow the killing of its leaders by Israeli forces. Hezbollah has been launching daily rockets and drones since Hamas' October 7 assault on Israel, in retaliation for the deaths of its top commanders. With much of its leadership dismantled, Hezbollah is now led by Naim Qassem, who is likely to be the next target for the IDF.
