Having never been a Watchtower member, I was not fully aware of the beard policy outside of hints I got from ex-members. I had not seen any official statement in their publications, so I was not quite sure there was indeed a no-beard policy until Stephen Lett announced a "clarification" in the last governing body update (number 8) for 2023. This revealed a great deal about the organization including their cultic nature.
