See One (1) Scripture Defeat The Watchtower Society's False Doctrine & Teaching Of 1914!

"[GOD] LEFT NOTHING THAT IS NOT SUBJECT TO HIM" -- HEBREWS 2:8

An important scripture that sheds light on the subject of Christ's authority and all that was given him at his resurrection from death is found at Hebrews 2:8 which says:

"All things you subjected under his feet.
For in that he subjected all things to him
[God] left nothing that is not subject to him.
Now, though, we do not yet see all things in subjection to him."
(New World Translation)

Now, think for a minute.

This plain statement above that Paul makes to Hebrew Christians, was obviously written in Paul's day, yes by Paul's own hand, correct? Yes, it was. So then, Paul was clearly saying, in his day, Jehovah had already ... already taken the grand step and had indeed, "subjected" [past tense, according to the Watchtower Society's own bible] ... "subjected all things" unto Jesus. Case closed!

Yes, this grand act, was already done, already accomplished ... by Jehovah God, the Almighty.

Indeed, Paul said Jehovah had already "subjected ALL THINGS UNDER HIS FEET," namely Jesus, who was already in Heaven and already granted the inestimable, wondrous privilege to "Sit Upon Jehovah God's Throne," yes in Paul's day. (Hebrews 1:3; 1 Peter 3:22; Revelation 3:21) To be sure, this is a unique scripture, a verse that the Watchtower Society has NOT spent much time examining in their literature. We see this is so because Hebrews 2:8 defeats them soundly, and their foolish teaching of 1914. This verse shows us, that indeed, "all things have been made subject" to Jesus, since his resurrection. (Romans 1:4) In fact, as it says above, "[God] has left nothing ... nothing, that is not subject" to him. That's right, "nothing," that was left "not subject" to Jesus' Heavenly Kingdom Authority, yes as early as the first century, as Paul shows.

Therefore, according to this verse, Jesus Christ is in complete control of "all things," and "nothing" is exempt from his authority and control. However, Paul adds this enlightening point for us by saying, "...though, we do not see all things in subjection to him." We, today, do not actually see the full power of Jesus demonstrated in "making all things subject" to him. No, even though in actuality everything is "subject" to Jesus right now. Nevertheless, God's Son simply has not TOTALLY EXERCISED that power to fully demonstrate his domination over everything. That comes later.

A teaching script for public instructors (Level 3)

Here is your Level 3 Public Instructor Teaching Script — structured, authoritative, and ready for use in YORWW Academy classrooms or field instruction.

It is designed to be delivered verbally, with clear pacing, strong doctrinal flow, and built‑in engagement points.

This script teaches how Hebrews 2:8 defeats the 1914 doctrine and establishes Jesus’ full heavenly authority in the first century.

📘 LEVEL 3 PUBLIC INSTRUCTOR TEACHING SCRIPT

Topic: How Hebrews 2:8 Refutes the 1914 Doctrine

I. OPENING STATEMENT (Instructor Reads Aloud)

“Today we will examine one scripture that completely overturns the Watchtower’s teaching that Jesus began ruling in 1914. [2nd Corinthians 10:4-5]

That scripture is Hebrews 2:8.

It is clear, direct, apostolic, and impossible to reconcile with 1914.”

Pause.

Look at the audience.

“By the end of this lesson, you will see that the Bible teaches Jesus received full heavenly authority at his resurrection — not in 1914.”

II. READ THE SCRIPTURE (Instructor)

Read only the permitted portion:

“All things you subjected under his feet…

[God] left nothing that is not subject to him…

we do not yet see all things in subjection to him.”

Then say:

“This was written in the first century.”

III. TEACHING POINT #1 — Past Tense Defeats 1914

Instructor:

“Notice the wording:

‘You subjected all things under his feet.’

This is past tense.

Paul is describing something Jehovah had already done.”

Pause.

“In Paul’s day — not 1914 — Jehovah had already placed all things under Jesus’ authority.”

Emphasize:

“This is the apostolic teaching.

Not a modern reinterpretation.”

IV. TEACHING POINT #2 — Nothing Was Left Un‑Subjected

Instructor:

“Paul then says:

‘God left nothing that is not subject to him.’

Nothing means nothing.”

Pause.

“This destroys the Watchtower’s idea that Jesus received only partial authority in 33 C.E. and full authority in 1914.”

“Paul says Jesus already had full authority in the first century.”

V. TEACHING POINT #3 — Why We Don’t See It Yet

Instructor:

“Paul adds:

‘We do not yet see all things in subjection to him.’

This means Jesus has the authority —

but has not yet displayed the full force of that authority.”

Pause.

“This is the difference between having authority and exercising authority.”

“Jesus already reigns.

He simply has not yet revealed the full power of that reign.”

VI. TEACHING POINT #4 — Apostolic Confirmation

Instructor:

“Hebrews 1:3 says Jesus sat at God’s right hand in the first century.

1 Peter 3:22 says angels, authorities, and powers were already subject to him.

Revelation 3:21 says Jesus sits on God’s throne.”

Pause.

“All of these statements were written long before 1914.”

VII. TEACHING POINT #5 — Why the Watchtower Avoids Hebrews 2:8

Instructor:

“The organization rarely discusses Hebrews 2:8 because it is fatal to their chronology.”

“It contradicts:

their invisible presence doctrine

their enthronement doctrine

their 1914 doctrine

their eschatology

their authority structure”

Pause.

“One verse ends the entire 1914 system.”

VIII. TEACHING POINT #6 — What Hebrews 2:8 Actually Teaches

Instructor:

“Hebrews 2:8 teaches:

Jesus received full authority at his resurrection

Jehovah left nothing un‑subjected

Jesus already reigns

We simply do not yet see the full display of that reign”

Pause.

“This is the original Christian teaching.”

IX. APPLICATION FOR LEVEL 3 INSTRUCTORS

Instructor:

“When you teach this publicly, your goal is clarity, not argument.

You simply show the scripture, explain the grammar, and let the text speak.”

“Hebrews 2:8 is your anchor.

It is simple.

It is powerful.

It is apostolic.”

Pause.

“Once people see this verse, the 1914 doctrine collapses.”

X. CLOSING STATEMENT

Instructor:

Hebrews 2:8 proves Jesus began ruling at his resurrection — not in 1914.

This is why the YORWW Congregation rejects the 1914 doctrine and returns to the original apostolic teaching.”

Pause.

“Jesus reigns now.

He has reigned since the first century.

And soon, he will reveal that reign through the Lambkin, the Modern Day Servant, and the 200 Million Global Priesthood.” (Isaiah 49:1-9; Isaiah 51:16; Revelation 9:16-21; Revelation14:1,4; Malachi 1:11; Malachi 3:16-18; Ezekiel 17:22-24; Mark 4:30-32)
